Product Details

Campfire Stories Volume II is a vibrant, modern tribute to America’s national parks—told through the voices of those who know them best. This collection brings together original prose, poetry, and folklore from a diverse group of writers, all united by a deep love for the natural world.

Where the first volume honored the historic roots of the National Park Service, this new edition captures how we experience these landscapes today—focusing on five national parks and two iconic long-distance trails. Featuring contributions from acclaimed authors like Lauret Savoy and Terry Tempest Williams, alongside emerging voices such as Derick Lugo and Rena Priest, the collection reflects a chorus of perspectives, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ storytellers.

Thoughtful, moving, and alive with the spirit of the outdoors, it’s a literary journey through the parks that shape us.
