Blackbird Incense Cones, Death

Death is a contemplative, atmospheric incense created in collaboration with Cold Cave to commemorate the band's Love Comes Close / Death Comes Close concerts at Hollywood Forever Cemetery and the launch of their 2019 tour. Part of a two-scent tribute to art, music, love, and mortality, Death explores the quieter, more austere side of the story.

Earthy sage brings an herbal, aromatic edge, while marble evokes the cool stillness of stone. Leather adds a dark, worn-in warmth, creating a scent that feels solemn, understated, and quietly compelling. A study in contrasts, Death finds beauty in the space between the living and the eternal.

Made with natural bamboo charcoal, botanical extracts, essential oils, absolutes, and isolates, each cone burns for approximately 20 minutes, with the scent lingering for 2–4 hours in a medium-sized room. The travel-friendly capsule contains 26 cones, and the packaging is reusable and/or recyclable.

We accept returns for a full refund within 14 days of delivery on online purchases—excluding FINAL SALE items, which are not eligible for return or exchange. Returned goods must be unworn and in new condition, free of stains, odors, or any other condition that would prevent the item from being sold as new. Products must be returned in their original packaging—we’re unable to accept products sent back in damaged or taped packaging. Items not in sellable condition will be refused or returned to the sender without a refund.

We do our best to ship orders within 24 hours. In most cases, orders received on weekends, holidays, and after noon (Pacific Time) will be processed and shipped the next business day.
